As if featuring the guys on the front cover of the July issue of their free magazine "TOWER" wasn't enough (see left), TOWER Records Japan (think HMV) has teamed up with Zebrahead and Sony Music Japan to organize a "Zebrahead handshake" day! "What exactly is a Zebrahead handshake day?!" you may be wondering... well the event taking place on August 13th at 7:30pm local time at Shinjuku's TOWER Records store is essentially a meet and greet for fans. Full details of the event (such as whether there will be any in-store performance etc) are still unknown at this point. The only confirmed details are that tickets are very limited and seem to only be obtainable if you buy a copy of Phoenix from either the TOWER Records store in Shinbuya or Shinjuku during the next few days!
With all these various promotional items and events, it seems like you'd be lucky to find a copy of the album on the shelves over there at all! Stay tuned for more details as we get them!
