Message From Matty

Hello Everyone!

If you would like to donate or help out in anyway to help the victims and their families of the Omaha mall shooting, please check out https://volunteer.united-e-way.org/omaha/donate/

As a kid growing up in Omaha I have been to that mall several times. It pains me to hear of a tragedy like this, not just in my hometown where it hits very close to home, but anywhere...especially during the holidays. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and all of their families and friends, as well as the family and friends of the shooter. Please take the time this holiday season to be thankful for the love and support from everyone in your life. Have a fantastic, wonderful, and awesome holiday season and be sure to soak it in.

Here are some other links if you are in the Omaha area and know of someone, have a friend, or are yourself at-risk and seeking help or just want to lend a hand:

Ben's Broadway Calls Video!

As previously seen earlier this month, when not writing a new album, Matty is gearing up to be a baseball superstar. Turns out Ben is trying to live out his dream as well - to become a Hollywood director! Below is live footage captured and edited by Mr. Ben Ozz himself for the band "Broadway Calls"!

It's not been that long since Ben's last masterpiece (the Get Happy Tour UK Update Vid) was completed. He seems to have the whole video thing down to a fine art! Perhaps we can expect more video goodies edited by Ben himself, on the new DVD! ;-)

Zebrahead Mashup MySpace Profile!

As of today I've launched a MySpace profile for my ongoing Zebrahead "Mashup To The World" project. Assuming the page doesn't get removed for whatever reason (cough copyright issues cough), then this will be the place to see/hear all the latest completed mashups and the place you can download the audio!

So if you've liked what you've heard already then make a bookmark for http://www.myspace.com/zebraheadmashups or show your support and add the profile as a friend!

Anaheim Ticket Link!

I'm guessing anyone going would have already seen this, but in case you're still undecided... or have been living under a rock, you can click here to buy tickets for the 29th December Anaheim show! Gonna be a good'un, you just know it!

Ben's Q&A Session!

Firstly a big thanks to everyone who submitted questions and of course thanks to Ben himself for taking time out of the band's busy schedule to do this. Below is the complete Q&A!

Zebrahead Related:

Q. If you had the ability to relive your Zebrahead career knowing everything you know now, would you do it? What would you change (if anything)?

A. YES. Who would be crazy enough to give up travelling the world with your freinds. You all know what I would change. My underwear?

Q. Can you give an update on the current Fanclub CD?

A. I thought it was done printed and being sent out. Just going by what i was told. But apparently it has been put on the back burner again and a bonus DVD might be taking it’s place. What do i know i just play bass. I think I am going to try and raise it from the dead....Because i made the tracklisting for it and i think people would DIG IT!

Q. Any plans for a 'Best Of'/'Greatest Hits' album?

A. Don’t you have to have HITS to necessitate a GREATEST HITS?

Q. Can you give some insight into how Zebrahead comes up with new songs? Are lyrics thought up and then put to a melody? Or do you write all instrumentation first? Or another method?

A. Every song is different. Some are started with Riffs and some with Melodies and some with Drums. We have no rules and everyone helps to write the songs. Usually instrumentals come out faster.

Q. Best and worst thing about being in a band?

A. Best thing – Not having a real job...having the blessing of playing music for a living....
Worst thing – BROKE ASS

Q. Any plans for another "Waste Of…" B-sides album?

A. Yes. We hope to have a B-sides album after the new album comes out. Yes I said this before and who knows it could change again. But shit we try to get as much stuff out there as possible and sometimes it becomes impossible.... on certain things. It will be better anyways to have B-sides from the last 2 albums...you guys already have most of them anyways ...right???

Q. Is it true you guys are going to make a cover song album/EP next year?

A. It is an idea we have toyed with. But no serious thing has happened about it. I think it would be fun..so sure hope it happens...and no we have no plans to record hungry like a wolf!

Q. What extras can we expect to see on the new DVD?

A. Sunsets...sunrises...long walks on the beach....oh...wrong question...ummm....hopefully tons of stuff....most you will have never seen before...so it could be fun.....just like everything else....this is something we are trying to make happen....so you know the rule about holding your breath with us...

Q. A lot of your songs are about relationships, where do you guys draw your inspiration from? Have you had a few devil girlfriends before?

A. I only date angels....ummm...i think everyone has dated a few psycho people in their day...ali and matty do most the lyrics so i can’t really answer this one....but i could lie and say i write everything...that would be a better answer.,.....next time i will stick to that

Q. In previous zebrahead.tv videos of Japan around the release of BTTW, there were some shots of the band playing an acoustic set with Matty on radio stations. Were these sessions ever recorded and will we be able to hear the audio in some form in the future?

A. YES..i have lots of them on video...didn’t really think anyone would want to see that shit....well maybe i will dig in and try to find some.....again.....they weren’t recorded pro style...more like on the video camera .....

Q. How did you get the chance to create the new Sonic theme song? Have SEGA contacted you regarding future Sonic game soundtracks?

A. They came to us and just asked us to do it...they had a song written and asked matty and ali to go in and perform it.....the cool thing is we got to go in as zebrahead and do a cover of their song.....mostly because their song isn’t something we would normally record so it was fun to change it more to our style..

Q. Are there any plans to get the entire Zebrahead discography (including music videos) on iTunes?

A. To be honest...i don’t even know how stuff ends up on itunes...i guess it would be record labels...but we have never messed with it...we are computer dumb

Q. How much input do you get on choosing singles from an album?

A. Sometimes lots...sometimes less than lots....i like LOTS

Q. You recently got some great exposure from doing songs for both WWE and Sonic The Hedgehog, are there any other similar opportunities that have been presented to you for the not too distant future?

A. Right now i haven’t heard of anything....but i hope there are more.....i like it better when we get to write the song though....the WWE song was written by WWE....and we could change it a bit...but had to stay true to their idea....it makes me bummed to do a song that is a cover and people think it is yours.....but whatever it is really fun and I am down as long as we like it........but in a song like the Godzilla song...we got to do whatever we wanted to do...and i really think it turns out much better that way....

Q. Do you get to come up with any of the ideas in your music videos?

A. Yep...especially now....we are much more active in everything that is done....think we are tired of people telling u what is best for us....we would rather decide for ourselves.....and if it sucks we have ourselves to blame...but if we like it and everyone else thinks it sucks then ???....

Q. Besides the obvious task of completing another studio album, what are the future plans for Zebrahead?

A. Start touring again as soon as possible...that is what i live for....i love travelling the world. We really toured for almost 2 years straight on the last album...so it is nice to be home home for the minute.....

New Album:

Q. How will the new album compare to your previous releases?

A. TO Be the best thing ever….hell I don’t know we aren’t far enough along yet..

Q. Are there any more details on the release date? Will the album see a simultaneous worldwide release, or will the situation be similar to BTTW (Japan, Europe and US releases at separate times)?

A. Should come out the same week all over the world this time...or maybe just a few weeks difference....last time was screwed with all the delays all over the place....so we will try to fix that...sorry...i would look for it in the spring...late spring...early summer.????

Q. On a scale of 1 – 10, where 1 is just getting started and 10 is finished, can you rate your progress on the new album?

A. Somewhere between 1 and 10...?????????????????

Q. Is it too early to be thinking of CD names? Or have you thought of one already? Any ideas on artwork?

A. Truthfully that is the last thing we do....it is much easier to do artwork and titles when you can have a clearer picture as to what will be on the album...and right now there is like 30 songs and more to be written...wouldn’t it be funny if the b-sides album was better than the other albums???

Tour Related:

Q. Are there any plans for an upcoming US tour (including the Midwest!)?

A. Always the Midwest…come on…..ok..ok…we didnt tour in the USA as much as the rest of the world this time…but we try…and we really just ran out of time on this one.

Q. Do you prefer touring smaller venues as a headline act or larger venues as a supporting act?

A. I like the small intimate crazy energy shows....but sometimes i like the big shows....so a little of both,...crap i don’t really care...anything...

Q. Chances of you guys getting to play in more European countries (cough Portugal cough) soon?

A. Yes and yes...we are always trying to expand to new countries.....sometimes we don’t get to where we want to go...like this time we were really trying to get to Australia/ South America/ Spain/ Russia/ and yes Portugal.....so those are all still high on our list.

Q. How did your shows on the Get Happy Tour go this past month, and what were the highlights?

A. I think everyday was a highlight. It is pretty amazing how things have really started to go great for us in the UK...so i loved the whole trip. It blew me away how many people had seen us play live before on that trip.

Q. Any plans for an Australian tour?

A. I WISH. We are trying that is all i can say! Crap can i at least go vacation there if we never get to play there??

Q. You recently announced a special holiday show for Anaheim. Will there be a festive theme (Deck The Halls played for instance!)? And is it true Broadway Calls and Army Of Freshmen may be supporting?

A. Festive theme....heck yes....that song...maybe...not sure....hadn’t thought about it....broadway calls and army of freshman...maybe....could be....i think?

Q. How surprised are you by your success in Japan? And when do you next plan to be over there again?

A. We are so happy to do well in Japan...the funny thing is I took Japanese in college purley out of my obsession for Japan. So to get to travel there a couple times a year is incredible. I also have gone to the point of having all Japanese themed tattoos...so I am a little fixated and have been for a long time...does that make me a tad bit creepy

Q. Has there ever been a time when something a fan has said or done has taken you by surprise?

A. Of course...everyday....i am suprised that people actually give a crap about us....

Q. What's one item you couldn't go on tour without?

A. My plaid pants

Q. Is it true you will be taking part in the 'Good To Go' tour next year in the UK?

A. Maybe??....not sure..we have talked to Ed of the good to go tour many times....he is a good guy....

Q. You recently had to juggle the responsibility of being tour manager, selling merch as well as your normal band duties on the Get Happy Tour, was it hard having to take on all these roles at once?

A. It made me really appreciate everyone who has ever worked for us....getting up and playing a show is the easiest and by far most enjoyable thing to do on tour.....and there is tons of work with merch and tour managing that made me stress out....so sorry if i kinda lost my mind for a couple weeks there..

Q. Will you be headlining another UK tour soon?

A. Most likely the next one will be headlining..

Q. Funniest thing that's ever happened to you while being on tour?

A. Watched ed throw up and shit his pants at the same time....

Q. Worst show you ever played?

A. If my job is playing shows could there really be a worst???

Other/Random:

Q. Honest thoughts on I Hate Kate? And are you still in contact with Justin?

A. I never really liked school and homework is such a drag

Q. Do you prefer Matty's hair in blonde or black?

A. Pink

Q. Who was the last band you listened to?

A. Broadway Calls

Q. How do you feel about couples getting married who don't believe in god? It is called holy matrimony, should that only be reserved for religious followers?

A. What the shit..???>...um...i am not religious and would never reserve the right to do anything to only a few select people.....i don’t give a crap who u are or what u do as long as your not hurting others...cool beans.....this question made me laugh....i think it was supposed to....and i like that....lock it up

Q. In terms of music, do you have any guilty pleasures?

A. Kelly Clarkson

Q. Favorite food and drink?

A. Mexican food....carne asada burritos....rum and crystal light...sounds bad...but boy is it good...

Q. Can you dig it?

A. Oh yeah i can dig it....

Q. What advice would you give to any bands starting out in the industry?

A. Be aware...get a lawyer....try to work for yourself...and make it happen your way....cause no one is going to look out for you the way you would....get advice from bands that have been around for a long time....

Q. Who are the latest band you've 'discovered'?

A. Van Halen

Q. Strangest question you've ever been asked in an interview?

A. Can u dig it?

Q. Next CD you are anticipating the most (besides your own)?

A. Ummmm.....tough...i really don’t follow release schedule stuff...kinda just stumble upon stuff.....

Q. Last movie you saw?

A. Just rented 23...was actually OK....just saw B movie...was OK...but i kinda liked that Fred Clause.

Q. Do you have a favourite sport (to watch or play)?

A. Sports are for sucks....

Q. Your favorite band is…?

A. Don’t really have a fovorite....i like to many....

Q. Thanks for bothering to answer all these questions Ben! Are there any closing comments/messages, you'd like to say to anyone reading?

A. Thanks for giving a crap!!

New Music Video In The Works!

Yet another music video from Broadcast To The World is currently in the works, this time for the song "The Walking Dead". While this is not an "official" music video, it is being created by the very talented James Robert Watt, who has created some great live Zebrahead videos, as well as music videos for bands like Kill The Arcade among others.

So what can we expect from this music video exactly? It is set to be made up using footage shot from the Brixton Academy Get Happy show, however will not simply be live footage from multiple angles cut together. James will be presenting the footage in a unique and creative way that relates to the song in question. Video is still in production and will be for a few more weeks, then hopefully will be revealed as soon as it is done. Maybe for around the start of December? As always stay with PFH for the latest!

Special Holiday Zebrahead Show!

Zebrahead have just announced a special one off show to take place this coming December 29th at the Anaheim House Of Blues! Tentatively dubbed as "I Didn't Get Shit For X-Mas, But I Get To Party With Zebrahead" the show promises to be a great laugh, and will have a special X-Mas theme ("Deck The Halls" to make an appearance anyone?).

So far rumoured bands for the show include Broadway Calls and Army Of Freshmen. Though until confirmation you should take that with a pinch of salt! We'll keep you posted on this as it breaks, though one thing is for sure... Ben is threatening to take a dump in your X-Mas stocking if you don't turn up!

Upcoming Q&A Session With Ben!

Got a question you'd like Ben to answer? Is it tour related? About the new album? Or one of those crazy random 'you-just-have-to-know-the-answer-to' type questions? Send an e-mail to datadynedaz@gmail.com and watch this space for the upcoming Q&A feature! Postcards From Hell will try its best to use all your questions but it may be the case that only a handful of those asked will be answered. However feel free to send as many questions as you like!

Woo! Yeah! She's Finally Here!

Just a heads up that Zebrahead's fantastic "Playmate Of The Year" album has been added to iTunes UK Music Store. In case you have yet to purchase the album that was released in physical form on August 22nd 2000, you can now buy it digitally for the small sum of £7.99! Click HERE to launch the Apple iTunes Store.

Judging from the fact that the title track from the album is listed as one of the top selling songs by the band, it would seem Sony managed to get the album up just in time for the aftermath of the UK Get Happy Tour!

Karma Flavored Scream

Mash-up number two! This time using Zebrahead's "Karma Flavored Whisky" and Michael & Janet Jackson's "Scream" (hence the very creative mash-up name). Enjoy!

Zebrahead's Get Happy Tour Video

If you haven't done so already you can check out the video Ben put together showing some of the highlights of the UK Get Happy Tour below:

Also be sure to check out ZEBRAHEAD'S BLOG where you can see some awesome pictures of the Plymouth show taken by Michele Britton of Just_Britton Photography.

Zebrahead Show Review - Get Happy Tour, Plymouth Pavillions 26/10/07

Taken from Rock Beast (read the full show review HERE):
"Zebrahead are a band who need no introduction and they are a band that many here tonight want to see as much if not more than Bloodhound Gang and Bowling For Soup and the moment Zebrahead ploughed onto the stage the arms were raised and the crowd was ready for half an hour of pure unhinged pop punk which was to the delight of the sold out crowd. Playing tracks from their latest album ‘ Broadcast To The World’ Zebrahead had the crowd singing along and crowd surfing their way to the the front and upclose to the band. As the set came closer to the end Zebrahead gave that little extra and left the crowd remembering the name ‘Zebrahead’ and they will defenitly have a lot more friends in Plymouth after tonight’s show."

Zebrahead Show Review - Get Happy Tour, Brixton Academy 22/10/07

The second Get Happy Show I managed to attend, this time in a much bigger venue! The set list was as follows:
Rescue Me
Here's To You
Postcards From Hell
Jag Off
Into You
Hello Tomorrow
Playmate
Anthem
The Set-Up

It was amazing to see that the crowd really warmed to Zebrahead and there were people singing along everywhere. It's obvious to see how much appearing at Give It A Name and Download has done for the guys. During the set they included the glowstick throwing oppertunity (something they started the previous night!). Ed decided to shake things up a bit by wearing a very fetching blonde wig throughout the entire set! Ali even managed to do a bit of crowd surfing right at the end of the set too!

Throughout the entire set James Robert Watt was there filming the guys and he's going to be working on a new live video for them. So stay tuned for that. All in all a great night, with a great performance complimented by a great crowd! Below are a selection of videos from the night:

Zebrahead Show Review - Get Happy Tour, Nottingham Rock City 18/10/07

Firstly, apologies for taking so long to getting this up! Show was over two weeks ago now, but I've been pretty busy as of late. OK well here is an edited version of a post I made on MFZB.com earlier on.

Before the show I got to help set up Zebrahead's merch stand, and hang out a bit with Ben. I saw Ben writing the set list and he said how they were gonna play "Here's To You" for the first time ever. It was pretty funny cuz Ali had this cheat-sheet with his lyrics written down, in case he forgot the words. So I was looking forward to hearing that. Ben was saying how it was kinda crappy that due to the few songs they can have (due to slot time) and the fact they have to keep certain songs in to prevent pissing other people off, it leaves very little chance for other songs.

Well the final setlist for the show was as follows:
Rescue Me
Postcards From Hell
Jag Off
Into You
Hello Tomorrow
Playmate
Anthem
The Set-Up

I was gonna record a video of "Here's To You"... but as you can see they didn't play it in the end! Straight after the show, Ben explained to me they had had sound problems with a mic or something... so couldn't play it. Was still an awesome set and it was pleasing to see how much people were getting into Zebrahead, especially considering there were still a few who had never heard their music before.

I was lucky enough to get a moment to sit down with Ben (and his laptop) and got to see all these demos they've recorded for the new album. There was like 40+, no joke. It was crazy... unfortunately, due to Ben playing his guitar through his laptop his speakers had blown and there were no headphones around so I didn't hear anything... hahaha! Later on a few of us headed into Nottingham to find some food and after that I talked to Ben some more about the new album, fanclub CD that kinda stuff. So was all good, then before I knew it the night was pretty much over. Was pretty awesome. Zebrahead's set was good, a little short (but what can you expect) and they don't even get a proper soundcheck which is kinda lame for them, but they did great considering, and have come on leaps and bounds since I last saw them!

To see all my photos from this show check out my thread on www.MFZB.com!

Zebrahead Show Review - Get Happy Tour, Bournemouth BIC 21/10/07

A great show from Zebrahead, as usual. Full of energy and really great sounding. The set list was as follows (as far as I can remember):

Rescue Me
Postcards From Hell
Heres to You
Jag Off
Hello Tomorrow
Playmate of the Year
Anthem
The Set-Up

Some highlights of the show:
-Someone chucked a male thong on stage and Greg put it on over his shorts.
-Ali told everyone to throw their glowsticks at them on stage, the lights went out and everyone did (this seems to be happening at a few of the recent shows), looked awesome.
-Ben gave his masterbation speech again.

All in all a great show, best band of the night of course!

I recorded a video of 'Heres to You' as its rarely played live, its from my phone, the video is pretty shitty but sound isnt bad! Enjoy

Exclusive Download: His World (Definitive Version)

Wahey! In the first of potentially many exclusive media downloads, PFH is happy to offer you the rare unreleased "His World (Definitive Version)" audio clip.

How is this any different from the versions of "His World" you already have? Well before the initial Matty and Ali clip was released to the masses via the Sonic game's official website, a Sonic trailer was shown at E3 (big annual videogaming event for those not in the know) in which a guitar driven instrumental version of "His World" was present, composed by none other than Jun Senoue (one half of Crush 40). Anyway this version combines this instrumental track with the original Matty and Ali vocals, which makes one hell of a combination!

You can stream the track here and directly download by clicking here.

Keep checking back, as more exclusive media will be added from time to time.

Early Newcastle Get Happy Impressions

The first batch of feedback, namely in the form of MySpace comments has begun to appear on both Zebrahead's profile and that of the Get Happy Tour. Once again Zebrahead seem to have successfully converted a number of people into fans, many of whom had never heard of the band before (good going guys!), and have stayed loyal to fans by carrying out the promised meet and greets as well as hanging around with the queues.

Ben recently made a comment on the band's official site in which he states:

"Hey Guys. Newcastle was amazing last.... so thank you! We have been having trouble receiving the emails of names for the meet and greets, so to make sure everything is OK...please wear your fan club shirt! And if there is a screw up...we are very dumb and apologize....we are trying but I guess we are dumb and dumber!!!...mfzb"

So if you're attending a show and expecting a meet and greet, it might be a good idea to wear your fan club shirt! No kind of media or information on Zebrahead's setlist or length of set has been made apparent yet, but details will be available soon. As I mentioned earlier on, I shall be attending Nottingham tomorrow and if I can I will try to do some updating from the road, otherwise expect a full report by Friday. To anyone attending the upcoming shows, have an awesome time!

Zebrahead On Wii?

Don't get your hopes up... this isn't the announcement of "Fast Food Tycoon 3: Ed's Taco Adventures"... no instead I'm talking about the use of the love it/hate it "His World" (Matty/Ali version) song in the future Nintendo Wii release "Super Smash Bros. Brawl". With the recent announcement that Sonic The Hedgehog will be joining Mario and co. in the free-for-all brawl (see video below), the possibility of Zebrahead's music being featured in the game is opened up.

As you can hear above Crush 40's "Live And Learn" the main theme from Sonic Adventure 2 is used in the teaser trailer, hinting at its inclusion in the Wii title. For those of you who aren't in the know, Crush 40 are the band that up until Sonic's recent outing "Sonic The Hedgehog" for Xbox 360 and PS3, did all the main game theme music for all the Sonic games since the Dreamcast era. While I admit I don't have much to go on here, the hint of Crush 40's music, from another Sonic game being included certainly suggests that SEGA may include the Matty and Ali version of "His World" in the game too!

So what does this mean for current Zebrahead fans...? Well not an awful lot I guess, except not only is it cool to know that a Zebrahead song could be featured for the first time on a Nintendo Wii game (and hence their songs being present in at least one game for every current console), but also it is worth considering that due to the extreme popularity of this unreleased title, awareness of Zebrahead could end up being raised to a whole new level. Anyone who was a fan of the band before their big break with "His World" will be able to tell you just how much awareness was made from the theme's inclusion. Smash Bros. could be a major turning point for the band. However as I said, at this point in time it is all speculation. We shall have to wait and see... along with seeing if Zebrahead end up participating to the music in the next Sonic platform game as well. Here's hoping!

New Zebrahead DVD Update!

You may already be aware that on the previous UK/European tour, the opening show held in Munich on the 14th of April 2007 was recorded by State-TV for an upcoming DVD. The captured footage is well into the post-production stage now, and a clip of Zebrahead performing "In My Room" can be seen below:

The DVD has recently been given the title "Broadcast This FUCKING DVD" when being referred to by the band, however whether or not this is the final title will remain to be seen. For a start, State-TV have recently updated their site including the DVD's artwork (see below) in which the DVD appears to have the title of "Zebrahead: Hit You At Backstage Munich" which raises more questions on the official name. I'm sure the title among with other details (extras anyone?) will be confirmed soon.

Be on the look out for a new wallpaper desktop provided by State-TV based on the DVD's artwork! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm very confident that this DVD will actually see the light of day. While some fans may be hesitant to get their hopes up (Party Time anyone?), I think it's safe to say that due to the quality of Zebrahead's performance and effort the guys at State-TV have gone to, it would be highly unlikely that nothing will come of this. We should only start getting worried if the DVD gets given numerous release dates, to which none are met! ;-). Stay tuned for more details as I get them!

Time To Get Happy!

The first of 10 UK Get Happy shows gets underway tonight in Newcastle. Without a doubt this will mean there will be numerous videos, pictures, news (direct from the band!) and reviews starting to crop up.

To make your life as a Zebrahead fan that little bit easier, I will do my best to collect together the various media and present it to you right here on Postcards From Hell. I, myself, will be attending the Nottingham, London (maybe) and Manchester shows, so will be able to give direct feedback of what went down, hopefully with lots of pictures and videos too! I'm also planning to get mobile bloging sorted out so I can update directly from the road using my phone. While any pictures from that might not be the best quality... you at least be safe in the knowledge that you are receiving updates when and as they happen.

So if you're lucky enough to be attending a show then have a great time. Expect many updates from this tour, which is certainly enough to make you Get Happy!

Zebrahead & J.Lo Doing It Well

This is, as far as I know, the only Zebrahead mash-up in existence. For those of you unfamiliar to the term, a 'mash-up' is a remix of sorts in which two songs are sampled together to create a new version of the said songs. Well last week, due to probably too much time on my hands I created a mash-up of Zebrahead's "Anthem" and Jennifer "J.Lo" Lopez's "Do It Well". Quite possibly the most random combination I could have picked? You bet. The mix is oh so cleverly titled "Do It Well (Anthem Mash-Up)" (lots of thought went into that name!) and has been live on YouTube for a week now and has around 3000 hits, which is pretty impressive considering my other videos take several months to reach those kind of numbers. For anyone who's interested in the technical stuff, I took an acapella version of "Do It Well" and changed the tempo to 90% before overlaying and cutting appropriately to get the timing to fit with the underlying "Anthem" instrumental track.

Anyway less blabbing, more viewing I say. You can check out the said remix below. Feel free to leave feedback, I'm always grateful for that. I'd also like to hear of any ideas for future mash-ups, or perhaps you've been inspired to create your own? Let me know!

Mother Fuckin' Zebrahead Blog!

Hey there! You've reached Postcards From Hell - a new Zebrahead blog aiming to bring you up-to-date Zebrahead content! Whether it be news, pictures, videos, interviews, audio... or... well anything remotely Zebrahead related actually! Postcards From Hell (PFH) will certainly be the place you'll find out about it.

The idea of starting up a Zebrahead blog is certainly not a new one to me, however in the past I've always found myself torn between the choice of creating one, or rather sticking it out with the official site, message board and band's MySpace. It's only with the UK Get Happy Tour (which is just over 24 hours away now) that I found myself finally going ahead with this. Perhaps it has something to do with preparing for hopefully an explosion of upcoming Zebrahead related content? Any Zebrahead fan can tell you how updates have been lacking over recent months, with the band undergoing a 'quiet' period to write/record songs for a new album, and just generally hang out. Either way, Postcards From Hell is born!

So where will this blog go exactly? That's certainly a good question and hopefully one I'll know the answer to soon enough. The next few days at least will be spent tweaking layouts, themes and posting some slightly older content that to any non mfzb.com members may be new. Talking of mfzb.com I'd highly recommend signing up to the boards. There are (some) great die-hard Zebrahead fans on there and if you share a love for Zebrahead then you'll fit right in! I'm dataDyneDaz on there just as an FYI. Would be great to see some more people on there.

Right then. that would be it for the obligatory introductory entry... perhaps I'll see you in a future entry?
