Summer Sonic '08 Confirmation!

The Official Summer Sonic Website has been updated with the main list of bands that will take to the stages at this years festival in Japan. Zebrahead is confirmed to be among some of the great bands playing this year. No specific news on which stage they will be playing yet but as soon as there are any details expect them up on the blog. Stay tuned for any news of a possible Japanese tour to coincide with the festival as well.

This year's Summer Sonic Festival takes place on Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th of August 2008. The current confirmed line-up can be seen below:

Nick Steven's Kerrang! Photos

Back in October 2006, Zebrahead had a full page article featured in issue 1130 of Kerrang! Magazine. Below are three pictures which were taken by UK based photographer Nick Stevens, the second of which was the photo that actually got used in the Kerrang! article. Enjoy!

Nick Jenkins Interview

Show Me How To Play has added an interview with Nick Jenkins. Those of you in the know will recall Nick (or "English Nick" as he became known), as Zebrahead's driver for their UK tours in 2006, as well as joining them on the Warped Tour, and a tour of Japan. In the interview Nick talks about how he became a tour manager and life on the road. Zebrahead even get a brief mention!

Zebrahead NOT Playing SXSW!

Despite a recent "confirmation" from the Get Happy Tour MySpace that Zebrahead would be playing the special Get Happy showcase at this year's SXSW on March 13th, Zebrahead have updated their official site to inform us that this is no longer the case. A statement reads:

Hey Guys.. Sorry for the confusion over us playing at SXSW this year. We tried our best and will NOT be able to play this year. We are going to be in the studio recording the new album at the time and just can't make it happen. Go to the Get Happy showcase for us and say zebrahead says howdy. WE WILL BE THERE IN HEART! SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION WE REALLY TRIED!!!!!

The Get Happy Tour page has yet to remove Zebrahead from the bill of playing bands at the show, but it's safe to take Zebrahead's word on this matter.

Rated "R" For Remix!

After recently being inspired by Reid Slaughter's "His World" techno remix, I thought I would try my hand at remixing a Zebrahead song. Here is "Rated "U" For Ugly (dataDyneDaz's Narcissistic Remix)" (see what I did there?), it's pretty much a trance/techno/rave remix so it's certainly different to the Zebrahead we all know and love but hey check it out, you may even like it.
